Biography and career
Ruslan Shamilov is a Russian middleweight from Velikiye Luki (Pskov region), representing the “Otechestvo” club, fighting professionally since 2017. He started in M-1 Challenge with wins over Davrbek Isakov and Moses Murrietta, then spent years toughening up on the regional circuit — MMA Series, RCC Intro, Open FC, NFC.
He signed with ACA in April 2024 and immediately beat Ewerton Polaquini and Tilek Mashrapov on the scorecards. He finished Gadzhimurad Khiramagomedov twice by anaconda choke in May and October 2025, then stopped Rene Pessoa by technical rear-naked choke at ACA 200 in February 2026. In June 2026 he knocked out favorite Dmitry Aryshev at ACA 204, extending his win streak to six straight.
